About the Down on the Farm Studio

My name is Lisa Marie Ford, and Pics by Lis is my business.

The Down on the Farm Studio is the Custom Photography and Design aspect of Pics By Lis.

I have over ten years experience in photography and design.

Pics By Lis officially started in 2000

and officially opened in 2007 as a professional Photography and Design 'Studio'.

The Down on the Farm Studio is just what it says,

my studio is located on my family's dairy farm, where I was raised

and have worked on all my life, in Northwest Pennsylvania.

I have been told that I have a different perspective than other

Schooled Photographers, in that I do not shoot "By the Book"

but "off the hip" for a more natural look.

To answer the question that I always get asked first,

I am self taught, with years of experience in my portfolio.

I also, for a brief time, assisted Professional/Professionally Trained Darcy Hammond,

before she relocated to Vermont in 2007.

I hope to offer customers portraits and products they will be proud to

share with loved ones. And maybe, capture some memories

for you to look back on in the years to come, memories that make you smile.

I strive to create designs that will reflect your personality or business

while maintaining originality and functionality.

I try to offer fair and competitive prices that allow the customer to order

based on their interests and budget, rather than breaking the bank,

with quality Made in the USA prints and products.
